Pertronix igntion

Post by TomSeth »

Hi, I remember a while back I read somewhere on here (yes i have tried the search function) that you could by a distributor with a pertronix ignition already fitted to it for a TB42S. The cam lobe in my dizzy is worn so I wouldn't mind replacing the whole thing. Anyone know when I can find this, I've looked on ebay but only found the ignitor, not the distributor aswell.
Cheers
Tom

probably be alot cheaper to get a second hand dizzy off the forums and then fit the pertronix yourself.

Jump on the Patrol forums. I bought a complete engine inc pertronix setup off there for $150 plus a bottle of rum for delivery. Car runs so much better (put the carby on too as mine was gummed up) but it starts, runs better and has more power (and no longer pings)
