V8 conversion, maybe ls1

Post by 96cruiserute »

Hey am thinking about doing a v8 conversion in my 96 , 75 series ute. Was just windering if someone has done anything similar and how everything went in the long run. Main thing I'm worried about is the driveline

You wouldn't believe it, but no ones ever put a LS in a cruiser b4! :finger:

But seriously, do a search, heaps have done it. Drive line handles it well, as long as u have the bigger gearbox, out of either the factory TD or 4.5 petrol.

I'm pulling my 350 out and putting a LS1 in my car in two weeks time.

Should go pretty well, and there's a few ls1 cruisers out there.
