What coils do you run in your coiled 75/79?

Post by thewayitis »

I am just wondering what height and rate of coils people have been putting in after doing a coil coversion?
Mine runs the full 80 chassis and I ended up with 4 inch EFS coils in the softest coil rate, with 30 mm spacers in both the front and rear of the right hand side so it sat level.
Has anyone else had to do this?

Hahaha hulsty, it sat like that after I didnt drive it for a week :finger:
I did have a look under a 80 at one stage and the fuel tank was on the passenger side, which is why I think I need the spacers...

When i was looking into the coils for my 75 ute (not an 80 chassis, still 75) dobinsons said that the taller spring is on opposite sides between the models so this would make sense in your car. Although 30mm seems a bit extreme.
