Are we able to still do a pre run on friday if we are there early enough?

Thanks,

got no idea on how much fuel will be needed there will be 4 to 5 hours of solid driving.
you will need to have everything to keep your car going including fuel in your pit area no later than 7am sat morning .
you can do a pre run anytime with a bit of caution in a couple of areas as we will not have the track fully closed off till sat am.

It's going to be another awesome year down there and I'm confident that this event is growing from strenght to strenght (we haven't missed one yet!)

We just have to finish some prep on the Merch trailer and load it up ready to roll out on Thursday night - We'll be setting up Friday and checking out all the awesome rides on Friday arvo!

Also OC is doing a Christmas Special for 2011 - and we'd love to offer it at KOTR too!

If you come over to the OC Stall we'll honour our online Christmas deal - Buy 2 Tees get 1 FREE!

KOTR is gonna be awesome!

See you there!

I have some of the latest 2011 Cliffhanger & 2010 RFC DVD's available so if anyone wants one or 2 come and see me $30 each or both for $50; This would have to be the best deal around on these DVD,s.

See you on Saturday.

PS: just a quick note to Aaron (Team Barbie) do not hurt youself as you fly out to the RFC at the end of the month. :) :) :)

we got most of the bunting up today and will finish the rest on thursday .
al and mark had a run around the track and seemed quite happy with the lay out and lenght .

Well i've just spent the longest 4 days of my life sitting in full sun, working on gettng the car up to speed.

Didn't get to do all the things i really wanted to, but for the most part all the important stuff is done

I'm stressed out, tired, sunburnt, dehydrated and worried about the car. I'm nervous as shit for some reason but i'm sure that'll disappear as soon as the flag drops.

I'll be there tonight so see ya's all there. If you see half a dozen bozos next to a big red and black truck then come and say hi.

Great Weekend BUT HOT. Great work to Mitch and Rolly for this weekend.

Feeling sorry for myself after a big roll over on the first run going over 2 1/2 times then when recovering it on the winch it went 1 1/2 times again. Got it running and still managed a 29 min lap. Great 2nd lap but that's where it all went down hill. 3rd lap came unstuck with the drivers high steer arm ripping out of the knuckle. Pieced the broken bearing back together and stole some bolts from the other side and got it to move about 400m before letting go again. Left it there in the mud to get some spares. Then got even worse. Ended up getting back to camp around 1:00 in the morning after Rhett and his mate giving me a hand. Thanks to Buddy for bring some spare back from his shop. Thanks guys.

On another note, If some one came across a yellow rattle gun and would like to give it back could they let me know. It came out of the truck after the rollover.
And there was a winch damper on a strap hanging it the trees on the way to the night run which was mine that I put there to slow down the buggies while I was fixing my truck on the track. Someone must have grabbed it.

Pm me if you want to hand them back.

Cheers
Aaron.

We had a fantastic time and yes it was action packed, especially being a driver.

Ended up with 3rd in Extreme Mod. Quickest in the hill drags and quickest lap out of the extreme mod class. Absolutely shocked by that. Go TEAM EFS!

Did break our A Frame so limped around on the last lap so that cost us alot of time, plus the amount of time we spend welding it which didn't work anyway... So that effected our overall time.

Great course and definately a test of man and machine. We started eighth and i reckon passed at least 6 cars by the time we were half way around the course, busted trucks everywhere we looked.

But the black buggy stole the show his drive up the creek Sat night was an absolute highlight, no broken buggy will stop that man - just drive over it!

From a spectators view, action was good, tho with only 4 out of the first group of 14 left running after 2nd lap was a decent wait between any action.

Seemed to be a well run event and some race updates thanks the Offroad Cartell guys doing the MC work was great. I would have liked more updates as to what was happening out on the cousre as we were restricted to being able to view small part of the long course.

Great work to all involved

Scenic Rim Adventure Park management would like to thank all the competitors and spectators for respecting the environment by leaving their rubbish in central locations in the valley campsites and spectator arena. This helped immensely with the valley site clear up today.

Once again thank you to all our sponsors for this event and we hope you will be supported in return by the many spectators who visited the event Saturday

Thank you to Brett and all his track building team. To Wally and his recovery team, to the marshals and all the others who helped out during the day which kept the vent running as smooth as it did. To the Scouts for supplying a fantastic canteen and last but not least the family especially Kareen who did a tremendous job promoting the event throughout the past year and organising all the behind seen coordination’s between all the events team managers

Yes it was hot but thankfully it was not wet.
The King of the Rim is already down in our 2012 calendar for 17th of November the third weekend of the month.

Thank you all again

I didn't realise I was only 20 odd minutes off Matt's pace! Are you sure that's correct? :D

Overall, the weekend was great! Brett, Mitch and all the other officials did a fantastic job! Many thanks to all the organisers the countless hours that went into creating the event.

On a personal note, I'm happy to say we ran well all weekend. I was able to keep my cool (for most of it) and still be running at the end. Thanks to the Team DGR sponsors: Superior Engineering, Locktup 4x4 and Universal Driveshafts Qld
