well i am a fan of the efi 5liter ford ,
but it all comes down to cost usually you can run either windsor or clevland on the same bellhousing. pull the 351 down and have a look then make a decision

You will get better torque from the 351 and the 302 will rev a little quicker.

I would stick with the 351 format purely for the extra grunt and offroad performance.

Was under the.impression a 302 was a Windsor and 351 a cleveland. Having said that keep the Cleveland

There are 302 windsors and clevelands and 351 windsors and clevelands.

The 302 windsor uses a different block to the 351 windsor.

The 302 and 351 clevelands use the same block but have a different stroke length to change the displacement.

Clevelands have much better heads than Windsors as far as flow and Hp goes.
Windsor and Cleveland are simply the names of the plants where these engines were originally produced.

that depends on how much damage how many rods are closed and honed i would recomend do them all and have it all ballance while your there with fresh bottom end you would be mad not to do rings n timing chain and check condition of lifters and cam .
do it once do it right
