i doubt it, no one wants to sit there and look at trailers and tow rigs all night.

At this stage, no, there won't be anybody staying at the starting point. But this may possibly change, but don't count on it. Just consider it a bonus if they do.

Hanging for a drive !!!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Great night, drove all checkpoints including widowmaker, little and big red. Had one winch through a deep muddy bog hole. Got home at 3:30 but had a great time!

Glad you got out ok Steve that was bad luck with your tailshaft.

What a night big thanks to pauly and everyone how helped make it happen, just got home and cleaned up the truck from that lovely mud hole, we drove all the check points and had a ball. Didn't see any brown snakes but found and caught carpet snake which Phil didn't appreciate in the car with us so he it was let go again. Hope everyone got out alright cheers Lindsay

To all that attended the Run, a Big Thank you. It was a great night... I would like to say, Well done to Phil & Lindsay for their drive up Dozer (Widowmaker to some) and an outstanding effort by Brett & Troy for driving Dozer without winching, the same goes for Allan & Michael... Steve & John put in a top effort in the Hudlux, and It was unfortunate that your run was halted by a broken tailshaft.

Stirlo put in a solid effort for the night with his 100 Series, well done guys! And Shane & Julie were undaunted by the stages and even took time to go Moth Hunting. While Lindsay made a serious attempt to promote Herpetology on the run. (Not sure Phil forgives you Mate!)

I would like to thank Mick for his help in plotting the run with me and for his time and effort in clearing one of the stages and for his input with the GPS. I would also like to thank Martin for cooking the snags and onions! A Big thank you to Geoff Draper for climbing the stages to place the visual markers and for his assistance on the night. Thanks to Chris for running the Raffle and Phil for his encouraging words of wisdom and solid advice when the BBQ was on fire. :D

And lastly, thanks to Deon for taking time out of his day/night to pick up and deliver the Club trailer to me on Friday night. Cheers Mate, I appreciate that..

Ok, Results:

1st Place - Shane & Julie with 230 Points

2nd Place - Phil & Lindsay with 220 Points

3rd Place - Was a tie with: Brett & Troy - Allan & Michael & Slippery with 210 Points.

Thank you to all for your praise and thanks! I enjoyed putting the run on...

Regards

Paul
