De-reg LWB Patrol. 1 of 5 - purpose built as an Ambulance for Ohakea Airbase. (Only 2 still known). Genuine low kms. Rust repairs required - all panels are riveted. First registered as GSV 29-03-79. 4 X New Hancook Tyres and new rims, plus older matching spare rim with Firestone. Drives O.K. but needs decent battery. Transmission seems functional. Includes Nissan Patrol 60 Series Service Manual, and Nissan Engine Model P Service Manual. Questions answered as best I can - was to be our 'project vehicle', but health issues mean it will not be finished.

Would be a rare sight. I reckon would be great to restore to mint condition, then offer lifts to the swedish backpackers on Fraser...

If it was here I would buy it...Nissan version of Roothy's '45.

The LWB 60 series Patrol on TradeMe is very cool and very rare. Although I couldn't ever get a reply from the owner giving me vin # and such to determine if it is a factory LWB or not. Although it is dirt cheap, low miles and history of the truck is known.

Restored to mint it may be worth a serious chunk of change depending on where you are in the world. Modded up with SoA, v8 and all that it would be one hell of a fun toy that nobody else has. It is certainly worth $500-1000 as it sits. Not much interest in it on TradeMe simply because very few people in NZ care about the old classic 60 series Patrol. But the LWB is a very rare find....
