Short arms

Post by troopy94 »

Hi guy's I am part way through a new buggy build and I am setting out the front suspension and would like to know what length lower arms people are running. The buggy is based on a lj80 suzuki so space is limited but it looks like the front lower arms will end up 700mm long, will this enable me to use the full travel of a 16inch shock ?

it will work but it will steer it a bit at full articulation. my lowers are 620 eye to eye, with 18" shocks
Its a wheelbase thing

Thanks rhett I wasn't sure how long your lowers were but I knew they were short and as for the steer hopefully 4wheel steer will help to counteract it a bit as well as having the lowers dead flat.
