What are you swapping the body with. I've just taken a GQ shorty off the chassis to put a GU ute cab on. It is the same principle as what you are trying to do. All the GQ and GU bodies share the same body mounts. Very easy to swap. You need to disconnect the A/C and the heater boxes as well as disconnect the steering shaft and the brakes and clutch as well. Its way easier to remove the interior first. You'll also have wiring that you'll need to un plug but if you take your time and do it methodically then you'll have no problems.
