FLEX. what are best positions to cut load leafs?

Post by Rollux83 »

ok so ive read through several threads on removal of leafs in rear hilux spring packs. But im still not 100% sure. My rear spring pack has 6 leaves. 2 of the six are load leafs. My plan is to cut the very bottom load leaf off inline with the spring perch. but im unsure where to cut the second from the bottom load leaf. correct me if im wrong but from what i understand excessive axle wrap can be cause with removal of this second load leaf? i was thinking to prevent this i would cut this load leaf a few inches away from the spring perch to helf prevent some of the axle wrap. anyway heres a pic off my leaf pack

any usefull information would be appreciated
cheers guys

when I did mine I swapped the 2 around. Left the smaller load leaf as it was and cut down the longer one to be a little bit longer than the perch.
