Boost gauges

Post by bundymuff »

Can anyone tell what the best boost gauge for my 3 lt turbo diesel patrol.
Do I use just a boost or a vacuum and boost gauge?
Hope someone can help.

hey mate

just a boost gauge will be fine. A boost and vacuum gauge is not required on a diesel as it does not produce a vacuum due to not having a butterfly valve.

(I THINK??)

That's right...well, it won't produce enough to tell you anything...
