Looks like Mick Short & myself will be definate competitors.
I will talk to Mick on whether he has a number preference but doubt it.
I would also say we will be entering both RFC & 3rd round of XWC.

Sitting in KLIA (Malaysia) waiting for my flight to Singapore then home.

Had a another meeting with Luis JA Wee (RFC Founder) re XI RFC, he is really keen and will assist to make whoever wins the trip and the others that also go to the 15th RFC life a bit eaiser.

I am also toying with the idea that after Mother RFC we do a tour up to Penang and the islands in the area and then across Cameron Highlands, pop in on Genting Highlands. This trip will have a mix of Motels & some camping as well as jungle driving (easy).

So have a think about the XI RFC and it maybe you that gets the free entry to go and compete.

Rules are being worked on as we speak. There will be very few changes to what we have been used too.
Listed below are just some (also for the XWC Events)
1 - No steel cable
2 - Neck Braces
3 - Controlled Parts where numbers will be limited etc 2 cv's can be replaced or 2 winch motors replaced before penalties are applied. Parts will not have to be carried, but may be left in camp. A list of Controlled Parts will be announced well in advance.

Cheers for now.

Yes Christmas is just around the corner, but everything still keeps rolling along as usual.

There has been some real interesting phone calls over the last couple of days.

Interrest has been shown from Ah Siong, Marcus & Rod to ship vehicles here for the XI RFC.

Ah Siong is past RFC winner, both in Malaysia & Sri Lanka, Marcus is runner up/3rd in the past 2 RFC's and Rod is Class winner and has been in the Top 10 over the last 2 years of the RFC.

If this happens it is going to be good to see if they can keep up with the locals.

Have a great Christmas.

Cheers

Sounds like its going to be a cracker of a comp Dave. I'm going to have to give the competition side of it a miss though mate. My truck is taking a different direction but I'm more than happy to come on up an give you a hand to set up and run. I'll be there for sure but won't be as a competitor this time.

I would like to announce that the XI - RFC Australia will now have $100 per Special Stage Win** on everyone of the 43 SS = $4300 up for grabs.

So that means the prize pool is nearly at $20,000. :) :) :)

This is an extra and will not downsize any of the event prizes.

**If a tied score, will go to the Team with the least penalties on that SS.
