Justing a previous post. What's involved in replacing the 3.9 V8 and planting a TDI?
Would the TDI bolt straight on to the R380?
Does Radiator need changing?
Other changes needed?

G'day

nope the 300tdi won't bolt up, stud pattern is different, Also you will find the input shaft for the V8 box is a smaller diameter than the 300tdi version.

As for radiator I would recommend fitting the rad and intercooler assembly from the tdi, engine mounts are different to, you have to weld new ones on.
