I heard you sold it. Hope the new owner is happy with it as it really is a well thought out rig.

bob has taken a turn for the worse, unfortunately he has been retired to the scrap heap as the motor seized and diffs were parted out

I'm not sure how these rumours get started...

What's left of Bob is rusting away in the garage where it has sat sadly for the past 2 yrs.

I'm open to offers on parts.

Well it's been far too long with far too many rumours floating around (which I must admit I have helped fuel) that I thought it was time to update this thread with something relevant and meaningful.

Bob lives!

More pics to follow in the next few days.

The story however is this:

Just before xmas I contacted Greg from Outcast Offroad about helping finish off Bob. He readily agreed and in the past few weeks the frame has been finished, the series grille and bonnet have been set in place, the seats have been custom mounted, the interior designed and all but done, a 4.6litre Rover V8 fitted(not in the above pic though), an Outcast Offroad Super-tilt steering column has been fitted, firewall done, pedal box done, auto shifter has been modded and fitted, LT230 and auto fitted, a custom wiper tray fitted and I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting.

I cannot recommend Outcast Offroad highly enough. Greg has been in constant communication with me and has produced excellent results.

I'll be posting up more pics this week after I take them.
