Tough Tracks want all dates for any type of offroad Event

Tough Tracks 4x4 Club are putting together a calendar for 2012 which is gaining alot of attention due to the lovely ladies and their lack of clothes that are going to be featured in this calendar. if you want a sneek peek just go onto our Facebook page and have a look for yourself.
As supporters of any offroad racing and competitions in any format we are wanting to place dates within the calendar of your event so everyone can see what is on.
So if you are organizing, competing or no of one then put your date out there for everyone to see regardless of what state you live in we want to hear from you.
Just post up your event name, date and style of event as this is all the room we will have and we will print it in our new calendar.

Round 1 will be held at Janowen Hills 4x4 Park on the weekend of the 14th & 15th of April 2012.

Round 2 will be held at Landcruiser Mountain Park on the long weekend of the 9th & 10th of June 2012. This comp will only be held on the Sat & Sun so we can play on Monday.

Round 3 will be held at The Springs 4x4 Park on the weekend of the 8th & 9th of September 2012.

Dates for the event are Sunday 4 March to Saturday 10 March 2012.We will be based at Landcruiser Mountain Park but will be using surrounding properties as well.
The event will consist of winch, GPS and speed stages

The dates are April 6th to 8th
The format at this stage will be Hill Drags Friday night, 6 stages Sat, car on car racing Sat night, and ....................... a 2 car team challenge on Sunday.

Calanders are in the last phase of design at the moment.
Ang from Digital Still Photography has done her last photo shoot so its all go from here on in.
We will post on here when the calanders are available and where you can get them from.
If anybody wants the dates for their 4wd event on our calanders please post dates up here soon so you don't miss out on getting them on one of QLD's hottest 4wd calanders.

David i don't understand why one of the parks will loose out.
People that come to watch your events don't usually go to a Opposite lock Comp.
So as far as the parks are concerned its a win win for both parks as the same amount of people are going to still turn up to your event.
It can only be a bonus for the 4wding scene in general having 2 completly different events running on the same weekend it means that what ever style your into you can spend a great weekend watching or competing.
It's another great win for 4wding scene in SEQ and great to see another 4wd comp emerge good luck Kirby.

What happens if you wanted to see both.

Cannot happen now.

So that means one of the Parks will lose out on this.

I will still get my entries I know, that is not the problem.

I could not see anything wrong if we were talking hundreds of k's apart, but them being both in the same area, to me that is a concern.

After all it is not a new event.

It is a pity that Kirby did not look at dates that were already put in place, if he had done so this would not have happened.

After looking at the list of events in and around SEQ it would be hard for anyone organizing an event not to double up and run on the same weekend as another event.
There is not a weekend spare that there isn't some sort of 4wd event on around this lovely end of the state.

Just one for you Wicked, when I put dates up I do check all threads that have event dates stated unlike some others. And I do work around them.

Mate if I did it for the money I would have given up before I started doing events nearly 16 years ago. And if you look back that far you will know that a lot of the other events around started within the last 5 years or so. So could it be possible that I started something when no one else was game or had the idea to do something with 4wd's. and in doing so many more events have been added to the Queensland 4wd scene due to this?

It also appears that a few have no idea what I have been saying:-

IT WILL AFFECT THE PARKS AS THEY ARE SO CLOSE TO EACH OTHER. NOT XTREME 4X4 SPORT!!!!!!!

Please also note that I do not receive any of the gate takings when I hold events at The Springs or other 4wd parks where I may have events.
