Both of the events don't attract the same competitors nor do they attract the same spectators so your dreaming that it would be a problem that anyone will loose out.
Maybe you just have an issue with someone else running an event on the same date as yours MMM and think your events are that great that how dare someone run another event on the same date.
Or maybe you have an issue with Janowen Hills as well.
Either way you have basically called Kirby a dickhead for running an event on the same weekend which only makes everyone think that you only do it for the money and not the sport, which is a real shame.

Just one for you Wicked, when I put dates up I do check all threads that have event dates stated unlike some others. And I do work around them.
And Dovers comments answered:-
I have no issue at all because as you say it is a different competitor group.
I have no issues at all with Janowen Hills. It appears to be a well run Park.
I have no issues with anyone else running events, and you better ask around and see who is the first to offer any equipment they may require to run their events before you make such a false statement like that.
I always like to see other events run.
I have never stated or made out that Kirby was a dickhead (only you said that), only that he did not check other event calendars.
Mate if I did it for the money I would have given up before I started doing events nearly 16 years ago. And if you look back that far you will know that a lot of the other events around started within the last 5 years or so. So could it be possible that I started something when no one else was game or had the idea to do something with 4wd's. and in doing so many more events have been added to the Queensland 4wd scene due to this?
It also appears that a few have no idea what I have been saying:-
IT WILL AFFECT THE PARKS AS THEY ARE SO CLOSE TO EACH OTHER. NOT XTREME 4X4 SPORT!!!!!!!
Please also note that I do not receive any of the gate takings when I hold events at The Springs or other 4wd parks where I may have events.
