do the gu 4.8l pettys have bigger brakes then gq's????
if so will they swap onto a gq ???? has it been done or tried????

I'm pretty sure they don't due to knuckle size. I tried 2.8L gu onto gq and they didn't work.

I could be wrong.

to begin with the spacing of the caliper bolts is different. then offsets a different too. its a headache.
Kits are available for bigger than GU brakes onto a GQ.
I wanted to do the same and we ended up making them.
