Mechanical/vacuum operated transfer 60 series

Post by RUMBOZZ »

Hi all,I have do e a seach on here and gooogle but with not much luck. I just want to ask you a question about 60 series vacuum/Mechanical transmissions. I just want to know if the vacuum part can be removed and a gear stick put in? I ask because I maybe getting a gearbox/trans from a 60 series with vacuum transmission. And mine just has a gear stick, and I was hoping to run a gear stick in the tranfer.

So any help you can offer would be a big help
Thanks
Chris

Can be done easily, you just need to strip the vacuum transfer and convet it to a manual shift using parts from a manual transfer case and you need to drill and tpa a M15 hole. Go to ih8mud.com and search, there is a few good threads on it, easy to do.
