Bundera suspenion

G'day guys, havent posted on here in ages. My mate and i are building up a coiled bundy to run SSS winch challenge in. I remember reading a few years back about lifting them using 80 series front coils. Does anyone have any good info on how to get one working?? We are only chasing around a 4inch, enough to fit 35s and still work reasonably well.

Standard bundeera radius arms will be maxed out on droop with only 50mm longer shocks because of the pin type body end mounts. Going a 4 inch lift will limit the amount of droop you have dramatically and traction will suffer. Of course if you're replacing the radius arms with something else disregard all this.

I ran stock 80 series front coils in front and rear of Bundera. Easy fit 35" no rub. Aftermarket coils are too heavy so travel is limited.
How is your Bundy coming along?

Having owned a bundera for years - I would be starting from scratch with wider diffs and new links. They are way top heavy, and need some work as a base vehicle.
Mine was so close to going on its lid a number of times.

when mine was a mormal car i had 2" sus lift and 2" body and could run 35s.

very stand up and tippy cars but shit loads of fun! Stock 80s fronts should give you a 4" lift.

I had 80 series fronts in mine and ran 36/14.5/15 they measured 35 inch tall though and only had a bit of rubbing with full lock on at the back of the wheel arch, I agree with all above, they feel top heavy and don't articulate much but a lot of fun
