hay guys lookin at buyin a 90 mod gq wag 4.2 pety just wanted too know if any one had anyidea what it is goin cost me to convert her to lpg(duel fuel) at all cheers :)

Anywhere between 3400 and 4000
93 RV, 5 in tough dog lift, dobinsons shocks and coils, PA, dual fuel, many many oil leaks and a ton of character.

cheers howsie rang and got a firm price this mornin from a local guy that i've had done by before, for either efi car or carby and the price was $3000 if i supply a sub tank and a extra $800 if he supplyd the tank so thought that was a pretty good deal just got quoted off the top of his head from another shop $4500!!!! :)

Ring as many place as possible as quotes vary hugely from shop to shop.

If buying a petrol GQ. Maybe look around abit more and find one on GAS already. AS there are alot of GQ's on gas. Then the worse you might be up for a is a pressure test on the cylinder (supposed to be done every 10yrs).

I'm thinking of parting out a GQ shorty with APA straight gas system. But I think it wouldn't work for dual fuel. Gas stuff seems to go pretty cheap on ebay too, though I haven't personally seen one for a GQ on there.

i just pulled out a gas system today of a petrol 4.2 patrol everything there to put back in a patrol including lra long range sub tank was going to put it all on ebay as a kit, i think the tank needs re dating but apart from that all looks good make pm me or make an offer if you were keen on it cheers.
