G'day all i just brought a new 2012 SR 3l D4D 4X4 extra cab hilux just need to wait till march to pick it up and was wanting some ideas on what lift options and set ups are out there ?

Depends what type of wheeling you want to do.
IMO easy offroad, sand, etc. the IFS will be fine. Hard wheeling, rocks, etc. a SAS is the way to go.

This sort of thing has been covered a millionbazillion times, a little reading would help you a lot more.

every suspension brand has an option for ya. depends on budget really. personally i went for a 2" susp for work purposes and im more focused on lockers. at the end of the day no matter what susp you put in it wont flex like a 80 or a troll so worry more about lockers. this is if its going to get into the rough stuff thou. reality is a sas is pointless to a vehicle like this. it cost that much to pay off without over investing, you lose it for god know how long to have teething probs when if u fitted twin locks you would get just about every place you ever wish to in a 2012 lux. give it 10-15 yrs and doing sas to these will be common place.
