TRAY CONVERSION Q'S

Post by PEG »

Im thinking of chopping the back off my swb w/t and making a small tray with the spare underneath over the diff. I know what im going to do with the tray but im looking for ideas on how to finish off the rear of the cab. The cut will be made 4 to 5 inches after the cab because i want to keep the roll bar and add an internal cage to it . Any advice would great THANKS

Peg what's the reason you want to do tray back?

have you considered dovetailing the rear? this involves shortening the gate and tapering the side panels. it looks awesome.

Hi PEG, I made my LWB into a single cab ute, with alloy bracing and marine ply. You can buy fibre glass pieces to fill in, but they are rare and dear. I live in Croydon, if I can be of any help.
