I found a plate inthe back of the range rover i just stripped, its like an adapter plate , only there are no counter sunk holes .
Was wondering did they use an adapter for any of the gearboxs ,
like the early autos . Is about 20mm thick.

I done some research on the net , Ends up must be a marks adapter on the chev, they are two piece , top half for the motor and the bit i have left over is
a spacer for the bottom of box so i can use a cover plate ,
mmmmm zurrrrrr.
Just that it has half a cut out for the starter that through me of i think
dumbdy dowdy dumb
You know one of those left over bits , scratching head wtf , , somone playing funnys with me ,ect
