I fully understand what you are saying. And you are right. But triangulated with the chassis end closer is the ticket if you are using a standard arm. If you are msking arms it doesnt matter as you just make the arms to work. Has anyone seen what they call a one link? Have a look at the micro zook of rhetts in gympie. It has a one link. Basically a triangle welded on the housing and it doesnt bind. Having the chassis ebds of the ra touching each other will have almost no bind. Going half way from touching to parallel is half as good. Etc

I didnt know what to expect when building mine. I have another housing ready just incase. But all this talk about trade off by moving the radius arm mounts inwrad by 30mm. Im giving you the feedback. Its made stuff all different with the only noticable thing, slightly more body roll. No wondering or wobbles... Im having trouble finding shock long enough to warrant the build.

Im actually wondering if its too much travel. Makes for good photos though.

I dont think i missed em, but when do we get to see pics of this?

After I have sourced shocks and made new towers, new coils, cut bumpstops, altered rear bar and everything is fine tuned.

Update. Still cant max it out or lift a wheel. 14" shocks front, 12" shocks rear.

Thanks mate. Its matched what I set for it to do. Already requests for more pics. Some want to see what the othersides flex is like.

With in 5mm of rubbing. So pretty much as much tuck as you can get. And drops below the sill by about 200mm.

With the build I am doing it ended up with chassis mounts 25mm/side wider than diff mounts. Due to length of arms & Xmember location decided this.

Do you mean 25mm wider each side than the stock mounting brackets on the housing? ie. Chassi mounts are 50mm wider over all than stock possition? Is that right?

I dont know how that will go as the housing arc remains the same.

What did you have to do to run the shocks you have? Are they in stock mounting points? Increased bump stops?

Rears I didnt want to mess with, they bolt straight in. Front has modified mounts at the diff housing. Designed to take more force when jumping and also handle the new articulation angles. And yes custom bump stops.
