replacement staun beadlock tubes?

hi there

where would i be able to get staun internal beadlock tubes from? as one of the tubes has a big cut in it.. there running on 16x 8 rims

Sell the internals to some other poor unsuspecting fool and use the coin to go externals

I spent ages and ages and fecken ages hunting down why the internals continually destroyed tubes. Tried all the tricks, and in the end just gave them up as a bad joke. Because even when they worked, they got mud in the beads so that i was continually airing up the tyres even though the beads were still seated. And balancing them was a constant ball ache.

I found my new beadlocks a crapload easier to balance than those. Will never go back

But having said all that, just ring around and ask your local tyre suppliers where you can get HD simex tubes. That's pretty much all they are. Depending on the stem diameter you may have to get small collar converters but that's no drama.

Last set of tubes I got were atv tubes from a motor bike shop. Cannot remember size though, sorry...

Wide Tire Bead Help

Problem: With large tires, typically 36 inches in
diameter and greater, the beadlock tubes may fail.
This involves Interco, Maxxis, BFG, ProComp,
Goodyear and most other brands. The failures can
range from long slits to a series of small holes. This occurs at the tire bead-beadlock Bead
intersection. The problem is caused by the wide tire
bead saw-tooth edge.
Background: We have discovered that all tires are not created equal as international wheel specifications
assume. They specify that the space behind the bead bump on the wheel shall be 0.750 inch/19mm. And
further assume that the tire bead shall be 0.625 inch/16mm wide. However, larger tires have wider beads.
Some may be as wide as 1.0 inch/25.4mm. Hence, the tire bead’s sharp, saw-tooth edge can create slits and holes.

Discussion: The international specifications rightfully assume
that the standard 0.625 inch tire beads will seat completely
behind/to the left of the 0.750 inch wide area behind the bead
bump. But for wider tire beads, a portion of the sharp inside edge
of the tire bead will project beyond the bead bump. This causes
two beadlock problems: 1) It may prevent the beadlock Case from
moving to seat properly and 2) the sharp edge may cause tube
failure.

Solution: Using a small diameter drum sander, smooth off/round the sharp tire bead edge. Further, in assembly, exercise all proper beadlock installation practices, and in particular, use lots of powder (see BLIN-02
Powdering Beadlock Help). If you run out of powder, you may buy any bath, baby or talc powder from any local source.
