4runner rear guard lift

4runner rear guard lift
My current wheel and tyre package is now rubbing on the rear guards at full compression so I have got two options either just cut some out of the guard or cut the whole guard out and lift it to line up with the front. Has any one done this ? Looking for ideas / suggestions on how to do it rembering it's my daily too.

I stretched them 2 inches for the last set and I need atleast another 2 so I don't think it's possible.
