hey all... any one give me some info on compleating the above
i have done a bit of reserch and from what i can see all that needs to be done is :
replace accelerator cable
install a return fule line
re do electrical for shut down
other then the above i understand the motor should just bolt in like for like correct???
feed back would be good

Yeah mate, my father fitted a rebuilt 12HT in his 1989 75 series troopy back in 2006, I inherited it 3 years ago and is my daily driver, I can pick his brain for you about the build, it was pretty strait forward. The accelerator cable and twin fuel tanks were a hassle from memory but all the kinks were worked out long ago. Its an awesome combination.

hmmm that is another option but i dont have much faith in that motor and that means engineering which i dont want to do

Yeah it was a clean swap, all mounts lined up, gearbox bolts up without a hassle. Like you said, some fuel plumbing and the cut off is different, It took him longer than a weekend but he only worked on it during afternoons and slow days at the workshop. You'll be happy with it, mines running a mitsubishi turbo and 14 psi, happily hums along the hume at 120 on my trips from Albury to Sydney.
