is the snake racing lift kits worth the money

Post by slow »

have been looking around at getting a zook to replace the patrol (need something smaller to fit in the shed) but am finding it hard to believe that i need to spend that much on suspension just to get close to 3" lift.
the snake racing kit costs almost as much as a car is it really worth it?

Buy direct from the manufacture & save... they will ship direct to you door cutting out the middle man & his jacked up prices unless you want to pay for the $1000 snake oil racing sticker

I'm guessing you're talking about the Calmini kit & a Vitara?

yes i am looking at the Vitara kit.
also noticed the one i can get shipped in has the stronger trailing arms for the back.
but that aside i am still looking close to 2 grand & over a month waiting by the time i import and install it.
just seems a lot of money to be spending if i can get as much performance just by cutting my guards.

 Snake racing is extremely expensive.

also what gear ratios for 31" tiers?
what brand ratios?
and is under body really necessary on the Vitara?

Snake pump a lot of money into marketing and sponsoring events. However I think in the Zook market where every dollar counts they might be pricing themselves out of the market, especially with the value of importing products directly

done investigating on other sites and 50/50%

all based on the price of importing direct. (not from Snake)

so not sure if will get Vitara now.

any suggestions on what to get that is capable off road and is about the size of a SWB Vitara?
