The cruiser auto never works well with the ls engine. Best to use the commo auto.

I'd be fitting the 6l80e. 6 gears with a low 4:1 first ratio and designed to take 600Nm standard. Sorry, can't offer any advice on the Toy box but Wholesale Autos would.

Its not that the cruiser auto isnt strong enough. Its that it never shifts propperly and I doubt you will be happy with it.

The 6L80E would be nice, but if I was going to spend that sort of money I'd go a Duramax and an 7 speed Alison.

The reason most A440 boxes don't shift properly and eventually die (mine included) I have since discovered is because the kick down cable needs to be adujsted exactly right, as it also controls pump pressure as well as shift points

Any info on how to adjust kick down cable correctly?

Be few and far between yet with a 6L80E I would think at this stage, and those that would will be a 6.2, not a 5.7 or a 6.0

I was getting around 16L/100 in my wagon, on 33's, with a L98 and 6l80e combo. Can't run a 6l80e behind the 5.7. Different computer systems
