308 on gas wiring

Couple of questions on gas and wiring,

1) Before the gas pre heater there is what i believe to be an "electric valve", It sits on top of the gas line like a tap. Beside that there is a little thing (similar looking to a relay but its not) which has three wires coming out of it, WIRE1 goes to acces power (pretty sure) WIRE2 goes to the coil (I think NEG post) and WIRE3 goes to this '"electric valve'".

Now from what I can gather, this is some sort of safety device that shuts the gas off when the engine isnt running (no signal from coil). Am I on the money here?
SO questions are,
Which side of coil does the signal wire go to?
Does the third wire go to acces pwr?

2) We have ripped out all the heater and fans and everything to do with A/C and heater. Its a trail rig only so not needed. NOW, the "centre console loom" (which is all the wires and plugs which feed the centre part of the console), Can this be ripped out? It seems to only join via 2 plugs on the main loom, and all power and earth piggy backs of each other. I would prefer to remove it and rerun any wires if need be than just tape it up and bunch it...

I don't know what the brand is, but I'll have a troll through there as well.

Question 1 is answered! I wired it as I assumed and got gas pressure, so it must have worked!

the relay looking thing is a safety switch it will have 12v from gas switch on one wire a pulse wire from the coil on another and a power out to the gas lock onthe other.

Re. The loom, the original motor was the diesel 2L if that helps.
