sagging patrol STILL

Post by lickfold »

Alright so iv got a 95 coil cab patrol. I fitted a three inch lift in it 1 year ago, dobinson coils and rancho shocks etc. No worries, it looked and performed fine. Since then iv moved to far north QLD ( weipa)and in the last 3 months iv noticed the passenger side, front and rear, sagging a good 30mm. I asked around and figured the coils had failed so i ordered 4 inch suspension stuff flexies and 6 inch suspension stuff shocks and drop boxes etc etc. fit the coils, shocks and extended lower trail arms last night and no difference, besides the fact that its not sitting where a 4 inch lift should it is also still 30mm lower down the passenger side. i dont know what else to do....... Has anyone got any ideas?

Upper spring mount bent, cracking, faulty?
Could be the front is being low due to the rear opposite corner sitting up?
Try changing springs from side to side as one is longer than the other (I had a set of rears that were marked the wrong way around and made the opposite front sit lower.)
Bent front diff housing or collapsed knuckle bearings? ( not sure you would get a 30mm drop though without it being fairly obvious in other areas)
Where you measuring it? Or you can notice it when standing behind it?
Some heavy thing added to sagging side? (double batteries, too many cases of beer, packed out fridge, big ass fuel tank etc)
Spring coil rubbers missing or different? ( check that one or more are not stuck up in the spring mount when you remove the spring. Hard to see unless you go looking when installing springs, and if you assume it fell out and add a new one....)

Hope this gives you some ideas
