in a hilux and loving it

Post by mick t »

g'day guys/girls
just thought id let evryone know that there will be a pain in the arse lurking around the toyota threads asking plenty of questions and trying to pick peoples brains ....ME
just bought myself a 1991 duelcab hilux sr5 , in absoloutley perfect condition
I've had a few patrols in the past and loved themback they just werent practical for what i needed.
Anyway plans for it so far 2"bodylift , 2" extended shackles , hot water system , custom winch baf and sliders , some sort of storage system that dosnt compromise the use of the tray( any ideas?) , and a new paint job i'm really a fan of the factory red colour..i could go on forever as ill allways want to do something else to it .
look forward to having a chat and picken some brains and hopefully going out for a wheel with a few of ya
cheers mick

G'day,
Im sure you'll be happy with your hilux, they are an awesome vehicle and very easy to moddify.
There are plenty of spaces under a hilux tray to fit toolboxes, water tanks, long range fuel tanks etc. It all depends on what sort of things you want to carry as to how you would go about planning what to do.
With a body lift for the tray, highlift jacks and other long tools like that would fit easily.

Cheers, Stubbs
