Round One this year will be held on a new property, "New Chum" is a 6000 acre working cattle station situated off 9 Mile road, 4kms west of Mount Morgan. New Chum has varying terrain on it, with some sneak peek photo's showing sandy creek beds, large long hills and steep creek banks, rocks and plenty of land for the high speed runs and GPS stages!
Being a long weekend 15 stages have been planned for the weekend (Racing starts Saturday morning and finishes that night, then starts again Sun morning and possibly going into the night aswell, leaving Monday for everyone to travel home), with the focus being on overall team capabilities, not just fastest car or fastest winch, but Driver/Navigator teamwork, GPS skills, vehicle capabilities and that never say die attitude that will get you through the stages!
Some of the stages are:
2x 30 minute drive stages
A rock stage where there is no bunting you just have to go through witches hats (Gates)
GPS stages
A sand run, where a leaked photo on Facebook shows someone bogged to their belly in the soft sand

Stages with driveable winch walls
Stages over the course of the weekend which will require you to use all the recovery gear on the vehicle (Ground anchors/ snatch blocks/ Bridging ladders)
And the Sat night at this stage is a mystery stage with organisers keeping tight lipped about what they have planned for us!
There is competitor/spectator camping on sight, but as for ammenities only Toilets available so please bring your own showers/shower water! (If you actually shower.....)
