Landcruiser 70 series v8 ram head snorkel fitting

Post by Rosey55 »

Hi, anyone have advice on how to replace the factory mushroom snorkel head with a ram style head? The sizes seem incompatible. I was thinking of a PVC inner joiner? Thanks

Yep safari make a replacement head, they also make a larger 4" replacement snorkel too. The factory one sucks in above 2800rpm

Manta make snorkel heads to mate, they also do throttle response modules, power modules, 3 stage air filters and 3" exhausts. Email them and they usually do package deals and knock a far bit off the price for ya

I think DUDELUX once posted you can get them cheap from truck spares shops like QDS and such. IFRC it was way cheaper than going safari and the like.
