Does anyone know how to reset a computer on the 4.8. ?
In the process of replacing the maf sensor on it as its running like a pig on idle and surging on power through the rev range and now the engine light is on.
Does anyone know if its possible to bypass the maf sensors on these like they do on modern v8s ?
thanks

Hi Rizzo
Can't help with your problem in any way, but I noticed you haven't specified the vehicle. I presume Patrol 6?

Re: 4.8 computer reset
Try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes then reconnect & see what happens.

Re: 4.8 computer reset
Had similar issues with fault codes on mine and with the exception of a water temp gauge fixing itself all others required a plug in...
