mooreys heavy duty oil stabiliser
Gday, what's people's opinions on using this in a 4.2 tdi? Thanks
Re: mooreys heavy duty oil stabiliser
I guess it can't hurt..... Why do you want to use it though?
I did use it on an old v8 with about 400,000 kms on the clock, shut it up a bit in terms of lofter and rocker noise, and used less oil overall.

My friends aren't holding me back..... I'm pulling 'em forward.
Re: mooreys heavy duty oil stabiliser
Not a big fan of it in an engine, i used it as per the directions on a fairly new rebuilt engine (had been run in and had a few 1000kms on it) and it gummed up the oil rings on the engine, It was a suzuki G16 engine.
I ended up re-honing it and changing the rings, so not a fan in the engine but in the gearbox it is bloody brilliant !!
