hey guys iv done a bit of searching for this but found no answers to my question so here goes.
what type of piping is ideal for the hard lines front to back, i was thinking stainless exhaust pipe but i really have no idea. feel free to school me

I used 10bar water delivery hose.

Always double shield any pipes that run inside the cabin, regardless of the type of pipe used. Have seen one pipe burst and spray navigator with boiling water, not a good end result.

Another option is high pressure internally braided rubber piping, used my mining industry in high pressure situations. Is available in up to 2" ID, will be more than sufficient. Normally available from mining and prospecting suppliers.
I would not use alloy tubing, ever. I've seen alloy radiators destroyed by electrolysis within 6 months, and you don't know till they let go. In a cab it would be outright dangerous. Stainless, yes, but shielded for reasons already stated above.

I use mild exhaust pipe. Cut the floor out to suit and welded shred over the top so if anything let go is would spray outside of cab

thanks for the reply's everyone. now from what i gathered stailess pipe will be okay anyone got some suggestions on pipe size. i am running a worked 5 litre.
also are the only reason people are running the pipes throught the cab to prevent from puncture. or is there another reason i cant think of.

I cut passages thru the cab as there was no room anywhere else to run them! A mate

I got a custom one only to suit a space tho! That said tho when I put the radiator from the front into the rear it would run warmer than it previously did

run the commodore radiator with factory thermo and shroud, if it doesnt cool it get an ebay 3 core one to suit commy so you can use factory fan and shroud easy

I would have though it would cool more efficiently with a rear mount? More water volume etc.
I changed radiator at the same time as rear mounting so didnt notice. I use a dc water pump to help things along.

Depends where you rout it I guess mine is close to the exhaust. Another option is a falcon with twin thermos

Air flow is where it is lost which doesn't quite accommodate larger water volume.
The Winch Lux is running an Afco alumin radiator with twin Falcon thermos.
Piping is a "Thor Scamo/SP Marine Wet Exhaust" made by Lloyd's. It is a corded rubber hose that has a wire spiral bonded into it. Will be only running hard line for straight section under truck.

60series rad with twin au thermos, works a treat, used this setup on two different hiluxs running rear mount rads with holden v8s

cooled a bigblock in a valiant with an ebay cheapy 3 core and factory vn fan/shroud, would think the availability of cool air in rear mount would be better than an engine bay packed fender to fender

now this might sound like a silly Question to most seasoned builders. but which way is more effiecient to have the thermo's push air through or suck air through. at the moment with the rad in the front the thermo's were set up to suck air through and definatley works better than pushing air through the radiator.
