When I put the IFS rear springs(stock height) in the back of my Lux, I just fitted 200mm shackles. From what I read, that is the best size shackle to use, so you dont need to move the shackle mounts, and still get good shackle angle.

I think it moved the rear diff back either 2 or 4 inches(cant remember which). I do know the stock rear shock mounts couldnt be used anymore, so I fitted the inverted rear shock mounts, and flipped Ubolts.

The springs I used were off an 2003 Lux by the way.

ive already got snake racing extended shackels at the moment with standard hilux springs.
snake racing has 2 sets of shackels for hilux springs. straight and bent. i have the straight ones at the moment and want to make sure i can reuse them witht he ifs rear springs.

dudelux are you able to look at your rear shackels and see if they r striaght or bent please?

IFS rears are the same width as your old springs so your current extended shackles will work, assuming they're long enough.

Can someone please clarify how far ifs springs move the diff backwards? Currently have inverted shocks already ad wanting to know if I'll still be able to used exsisting top shock mounts without clashing with my spare tyre.

It's covered about 5 times in the bible mate. Read through the whole thing before asking the same old questions. As for your shocks, try your luck. Worst case you'll just have to move a couple of things around.

Have a look through the bible on Pirate too. It's very comprehensive. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=775780" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

My shackles are straight.

I think it moved back 2 inches, as I remember looking at the slip joint on the rear shaft, and working it out.
I cant get an exact measurement, as the Lux has been at the mechanics for the last 2 weeks.
