adjusting tortion bars and shock size, please help me out

Post by team_hilux »

ok so i have a ifs hilux.... iv adjusted the tortion bars 2 inch and have 1.5 inch balljoint spacers (diff drop and sway bar drop spacers to reduce angle one cvs) so thats a total of 3.5 inch lift, so i got rancho9000 adjustable shocks for a 4 inch lift.. my question is if i decide to adjust the tortion bars down 1 inch (which would mean 2.5 inch lift) could i still leave the ranch9000s in there which are designed for a 4 inch lift? would tthe shock just compress 1.5inch? and have no problems... thanks guys

Check the articulation without shocks then buy the shocks with the most suitable closed and extended lengths.
