is it worth adjusting tortionbars down for travel? ifs

Post by team_hilux »

i was just wondering if its worth adjusting the tortion bars down on a ifs for travel? like is it allot more travel gains by adjusting them down 1 inch?
does it make much of a difference?

i dont have a locker in the front, but if i did i guess the more clearence gains the better right? or does having more travel reduce the chance of rolling?

If you adj them down you will reduce ground clearance but increase droop at the wheel which can be a good thing.
You will not get more travel, just more droop less compression and vice versa. It may also affect camber etc.
Adjusting them (within limits) to give more clearance will do just that, more clearance but you may loose traction as a wheel could lift off the ground earlier as less droop.
