On my mums Jeep for a long time now if you stopped the car and started it again within like 5 minutes you couldnt start it in park and have to go to neutral. Now you cant ever start it in a park. I know it aint much of a deal but it annoys my mum lots just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and what have they done to solve it. I know it has something to do with the car not registering its in park and still thinks its in gear
Thanks

Guarentee you its the clutch inhibitor switch.
Dont know what the fcuk it does but have the same problem on mine.
Cant remamber how much my mechanic said it was but it only happens every now and again in mine.
Easiest fix is to just start the jeep in neutral, or get it fixed.
If some prick steals your keys or your jeep gets broken into they will probably be stumped as to why they cant start it.
