hi
im looking for spare driving belts for my 1990 4,2l diesel maverick...
i already read around a bit and it seems like there are some difficults with the right size for the nissan gq...
so there are probably the same problems to find the right one for my maverick?
only the fanbelt seems to be easy: 13A1145
for the power steering and air con i have various possibilities...
and btw... the aircon and power steering wont be that important or?
i dont use the air con and if the power steering wouldnt work until i would change the belt or let it change i just have to put a bit more effort in driving
...so get a 13A1145 and only change this one?
cheers jonas

Re: driving belts ford maverick
I don't know how to Put up links cause I'm a bit of a spaz. But I've seen on eBay full belt and radiator hose kits for decent prices from people like terrain tamer at decent prices.

No change them all, have you ever tried to steer a patrol/ maverick without the power steering working ? A bit more effort is an understatement. Certainly wouldn't like the power assist on the steering to stop working at highway speeds.
Re: driving belts ford maverick
Try and look along the full length of each belt. and see if you can make out the numbers. Patrol/Mavs are a pain in the arse for AC belts. As there was 3 different setups for aircon depending on where the AC was fitted (factory, dealer or aftermarket). The aircon was always in the same spot. But the idler bearing varies.
