You dont need adjustable. But longer solid ones will do just as well.

I didnd, caus I like to 4wd. when you are on full wheel travel up,the wheel go's back to its original position. If you have moved the rear over with an adjustable panhard rod its great for the road, but on full "up" wheel travel your right hand rear will scrub out the chassis & tub worse. If you do just check that there arent any sharp bits under there that might bite & slice a hole in your tyre, my GQ had them when I bought it, so I took the wheel off & ground back any sharp edges then re-painted & put the wheel back on. I have a 3" lift in my GU with 305-70-17 (33x 12.50) tyres on 17" x 9.5 rims. You can notice it it you look for it but its not worth worrying about.
cheers piggy

Pete,
I sleeved mine with steam pipe and only need to do the rear for strength. I didnt need to lengthen mine as I only had a 40mm lift on a SWB. I just let it sit off set slightly. Piglet, I still had rubbing on the body with both 285/75R16 and 35x12.50R15 on what was a Toyota std offset rims I was lead to believe.

Last one I did I used adjustable.
I like to put the steering box back centrally so you are on the correct part of the worm.
I used Ridepro adj panhards from Ateco.
