Land Cruiser 3.7 diff ratio

Hello All,

I am chasing a 3.7 diff ratio to fit into a 60 series Land Cruiser diff. What cars did these come out or even better when can i get my hands on one, would prefer second hand if possible

I think it is 3.73, came in jap 60 series and american 60 series, apprently some early 40 series had them.

The north americans seem to quote the 3.73 (41:11 I think) ratio a lot for 60s.... it should be 3.7 (37:10)..... I have a set and have counted the teeth numerous times... am looking for another one as well :D as far as I know they are out of a 60..

Off the top of my head I think the manual 80's released in Europe had 3.9's or 3.7's. Autos were the standard 4.11's.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

to easy, except on the wallet. Still you would be better off with new gears in fully rebuilt diffs anyway.

I think the new v8 diesel utes have a 3.7 too, although unsure wether they will fit a 60.
The worst part about being told you have Alzheimer's, is that it doesn't just happen once.
