Re: Land Cruiser 3.7 diff ratio
I think it is 3.73, came in jap 60 series and american 60 series, apprently some early 40 series had them.

Re: Land Cruiser 3.7 diff ratio
The north americans seem to quote the 3.73 (41:11 I think) ratio a lot for 60s.... it should be 3.7 (37:10)..... I have a set and have counted the teeth numerous times... am looking for another one as well as far as I know they are out of a 60..hulsty wrote:I think it is 3.73, came in jap 60 series and american 60 series, apprently some early 40 series had them.

Re: Land Cruiser 3.7 diff ratio
Off the top of my head I think the manual 80's released in Europe had 3.9's or 3.7's. Autos were the standard 4.11's.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

to easy, except on the wallet. Still you would be better off with new gears in fully rebuilt diffs anyway.
I think the new v8 diesel utes have a 3.7 too, although unsure wether they will fit a 60.
