is it true that gu patrols cant run a 15inch rim due to the brakes calliper being to big?

The 4.8L patrols have bigger brakes and can't run 15's.
All other models can run 15" steelies.
GU Patrol with go better bits added

I used my 15" alloys on my GU. They cleared the calipers, but only just!! At the OBC I picked up an unlucky pebble that got jammed between the caliper & rim it cut the rim out.
After That race I went to 16" rims.

GQ DUAL CAB TUFF UTE,caged,lokd,35's
NOW SOLD
& then
JK WRANGLER 4 DOOR TUFF TOURER,lifted,lokd, 35s

thanks for that i was just told that muddies were cheaper for a 15inch but didnt seem to be the case anyway so bought some new hancock m/t 03s seem to very good little to no noise and chunky looking tyres.

i run -30 offset rims on my GU

i dont get any scrubbing and they sit inline with the factoru flares (99 GU ST)

-30 aparently will fit onto the 4.8 aswell but not 100% sure
If at first you dont succeed... Skydiving is not for you!
