Gq swaying

Post by Lawrence »

Hi fellows, my gq seems to have a slight swaying when on the highway, especially if it windy. Seems to have gotten a bit worse the other day after carrying a full compliment of passengers. I am also feeling the bumps on the road a bit more. I know i am in need of some rear link bushings, but could this be the cause or is it in need of new shocks?

IMO it will be bushes of some type. if your rear link bushes are shagged you may be getting a few degrees of rear steer. rubber bushes only. stay away from poly.

Just check that nuts aren't loose and that the rubber bushes aren't stuffed.

Sounds like the rear bushes are worn out. Easy check is to power on and off, and if the car swings to when you power, and then throws when you back off, then the bushes are gone (assuming you dont have a 8inch lift or an A frame in the rear). All bushes can be gathered through Niz bits and he is the best.. I deal with no one else now>>>>
