Ihave longer brake lines due to the 2" BL and the longer shocks (mentioned above). Not sure which variable in particular needed these longer shocks, but it is VERY important to have longer/better brake lines.

Wellllll
At 3" I'd correct the castor. Either with offset bushings or modified radius arms.
If you go with longer shocks, you'll need spring retainers.
Make sure the front propshaft u-joints are perfect as this is getting near the limit of a u-jointed front shaft.
2" spring lift is much cheaper and easier.......
Personally, I think 764s are way too stiff for the front of a Disco. You would want to have a lot of eztra weight up there.

I find the same on the Rangie - 2 batteries steel bull bar and 8274 with steel cable and the 764's are still too stiff. I would try 180 - 220...
Remember it also makes a difference if you are too lightly sprung in the rear - A stiffer rear spring will make the front work more...

Being in Vic mate its pretty hard to go past Rangie spares springs.

You might be able to use stock rears in the front . If you want to know for sure, figure it out exactly. I have some nice newer more accurate data on the newer Disco rears. This would certainly be lighter than the 764s (and less lift). The older rears NTC5527 would give more lift than the newer dual rate jobbys NRC8044/5 but have the same normal spring rate. Otherwise the OME761s are good for the from with a winch and bumper.
LR Coil Spring Data
As stated, Rangie Spares has a better range selection (IME) and are cheaper. I'd call them up and talk as they have lots of real experience in seeing what works well in specific vehicles. They are certainly my first choice for springs (when I'm in your lovely Country).

The 764s ARE 220lb/in rated, the "correct" OME HD front 2" spring for rovers are the 751s which are 230lb/in, which are stiffer (by 4.5% ).

Expedition Exchange have them marked as 220lb/in

Yes I know......
How about we stop arguing over ARB. Phone Andrew up at Rangie Spares.
1) They are 75% the cost.
2) He is open and honest about his spring rates.
3) He will be able to give useful knowledge of whether the fronts should be 180 or 220 lb/in based on what the ACTUAL Discovery in question is and what the ACTUAL owner wants with respect to softness/hardnees of the suspension.
4) He makes a wonderful selection of lengths in 180 and 220 ib/in..... Some of the longer ones are REALLY handy if you are putting in longer shocks.

HAHAHA
Whatever you say, the BL has its use
If I remember correctly, it was a Dweb that the BL was fully trashed by the "special" people there.
