Hey,
I got a 4.8 on gas and rather than buying a new car to widen my fuel travelling options ( fraser on a 32L sub would be no fun), I am now investigating the long range replacement - 70L I believe.
Has anyone done is conversion and how do you find it for that little bit extra range -- was it worth the grand for 38 litres?

Re: 4.8 Sub Tank Replacement
It depends on how much range your currently getting, and how much more you'll get with the extra 38 litres. You need to do the calculations for yourself. Its almost two jerry cans when you think about it??
I bought the 147 litre main tank and also changed the sub tank to a 70 litre, currently have 200 litres of diesel capacity, was worth the spend for me cause sometimes I tow a camper and also do long trips.
