75series seats

Post by TOJO 12-HT »

Hey im after better seats in my ute, prefer something second hand say out of a commodore or such.
So jus wondering wat others have done n if yous have any tips.

In my old 60 wagon it was easy but the utes a bit diffrent, as i need a thin backrest n also have the quick tilt fowards to get behind the seats.

i bought a set of recaro's myself.
wodonga motor trimmers ripped me off. :bad-words: :agrue:   :bad-words: :bad-words:
one of the handles was broken to adjust the seat, sadly that one was on a shelf near the ceiling, he hid it, only found out when i was at home.
only caught on what he was talking over the phone about much later.

prick.
i tried brazing it, mig. all no good.
if its missing the side handle, get a discount. heavy discount.

rav4 has similar set up, slim base, mum has one reckon theyd fit, could use some more padding.

i got mine restitched where needed, and extra cushion on the base, the sides are very high, and make it a pain to get in and out.
now its perfect!
