custom gearbox mount hj75

Hey im after info or idears for mounting my H55F 5speed box in Hj75?
I tryed search and also google, but to no avail. I guess its something rare lol.

Im doing coil conversion, and original crossmember gets in the way.

Re-mount to the inside of the chassis rails.

as the way i measured a 79 coil front end, the control arm mount goes right where the crossmeber goes atm

I'd imagine you'd cut the original mounts off then run horizontal crush tubes through the rails and plate on each end of the new crossmember (bolting to inside of chassis rails). Radius arms could then be welded under the chassis.

Has anybody seen this done? Pictures?

Get hold of an early hj60 h55f cross member they are mounted inside the chassis rails so it wont affect ur coil conversion thats what my 60s got an didnt effect me doin my patrol diff coil conversion

have a look through my build the cashie, as ive overcome this, new cross member and the mounts for the radius arms mount to this, just a pain in the ass when you want to pull the gear box out
