Hi all,
just wiring up trailer brakes to the new girl and cant seem to find a brake signal off the brake switch. every time i do it check one of the 3 wires the check esp warning comes on the dash and the brake lights stop working?!?!?
any help welcomed!!

How are you testing the wires? If you're using a test lamp, some ECU somewhere is probably detecting that the circuit impedance is wrong, and flagging an error.

You need to pick up the siginal from the brake light wire in the trailer plug
